Automotive System Test Setups (m/w/d)

For an exciting project with our client, we are currently looking for an expert in automotive system test setups.
Workload: 80 - 100%
Location: Bangalore, India
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Design test benches: Design and build test equipment (e.g., for automotive system setups, prototype vehicles, and certification systems)
+ Compile system requirements, select appropriate components based on the system architecture, and coordinate technical details with the (internal) customer
+ Test bench build-up: Test benches: system test setups, virtual test benches—physical, real towers, such as those used in server environments (to identify behavior in the real test bench, in the vehicle) = designing the system based on existing standards or extensions within the modular system concept, in collaboration with suppliers if necessary
+ Create parts overviews (BOM = bills of materials) and specifications (drawings, designs, models) for suppliers or for internal implementation (Teamcenter not required)
+ Create work instructions and user documentation
+ Initiate and track the procurement of necessary parts and components
+ If necessary, develop the hardware tools required to implement the setups, in collaboration with software development if needed, including specifications, BOMs, work instructions, and documentation, as well as organizing the implementation
+ Report to PL on daily and weekly progress via Jira, Confluence, Excel, etc.
Must-haves:
+ Very strong mechanical skills
+ 2-3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry; junior candidates who are highly motivated are also welcome
+ Knowledge of or several years’ experience in product and software development, as well as a good understanding of electrical and electronic systems in the vehicle as a whole
+ Good written and spoken English skills
+ Logical and analytical thinking combined with a structured approach to work, a strong commitment to quality, and a passion for working independently
Nice to have:
+ Project experience in the field of driver information technology is desirable (infotainment & telematics)
+ Knowledge of testing and validation as well as vehicle networking (Ethernet, CAN, etc.) is a plus (infotainment & telematics)
+ Ability to handle hazardous materials: G40 coolant
