As a Data Governance Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data management and compliance within our organization. - Contributing to data governance programmes and initiatives to ensure data is managed in accordance with company-wide standards and regulatory requirements
- Establishing and expanding the company-wide data catalogue, including actively shaping the use and implementation of the data glossary and data lineage, with the aim of creating a consistent and traceable data foundation and supporting business units during onboarding
- Design and implementation of data quality checks and metrics to ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of business-relevant data
- Quality assurance of company-wide KPIs through definition, validation and technical monitoring, in project-specific coordination with business units to establish uniform KPI standards and promote data-driven decision-making
- Monitoring and analysing data quality issues and developing appropriate solutions to continuously improve data integrity
- Contributing to the development of governance guidelines and procedures for data management, particularly with regard to data classification, data security and data protection, by refining access rights and ensuring compliance with legal requirements such as the GDPR
